Calligraphy and Hand-Painted Lettering
For that extra special touch we use local artist and calligrapher David Pole. David is highly skilled and has designed for Medici, the greetings card specialists. Allow us to liaise with David on your behalf to create bespoke invitations, name labels, original artwork, etc. We can also handwrite or paint save-the-date cards, place-name cards, invitations, thank you cards, orders of service, menus etc. We can either do plain calligraphy in a black or coloured ink or hand-painted lettering using watercolour illumination. A price guide:

Calligraphy on place cards - 85p per name (we provide place card)

Calligraphy on decorated place card - £1.00 + 85 per second name if required (card decorated with small satin flower or bow)

Large calligraphy letters (1" +) - £1.00 per letter

Hand painted lettering - £1.50 per name
