Party Loft
– Terms of Hire
Usage Times:
Hire includes use of the room for agreed time period with access 30 minutes
prior.
The premises must be vacated promptly after your event.
Space:
Hire includes use of the party room, to include sink and tea and coffee
facilities and fridge and microwave. There are three toilets available
(2 ladies and 1 gents) as well as a first floor lobby and cloakroom area.
Footwear and Coats:
We ask that children remove footwear before entering the party zone. Adults
may keep shoes on but we that wellies and muddy footwear are removed.
For health and safety reasons we ask that coats are kept in the cloakroom
and that handbags are kept off the floor of the play area in the party
room.
Responsibility of
the Children:
Children remain the full responsibility of the parents or allocated carer/responsible
adult.
We advise that children do not leave the party room and do not go beyond
the stair gate at the top of the stairs unless accompanied. All children
must be signed in whether parents are staying or leaving.
Food and Drink:
Food is not permitted in the carpeted area. If using cups of squash rather
than juice cartons for children then please clean up immediately after
any spillages.
· If you are bringing
in your own catering then we do ask that you remove all refuse or we can
do that on your behalf but will charge an additional £25.00 refuse
and clean up charge.
· Tea and coffee facilities are available free of charge for the
adults.
· Do not leave glass or hot drinks unattended in the children’s
play zone.
· If glasses are required for adult usage then we can provide these
but this will incur a
£10.00 cleaning charge.
· Plastic plates, cups and bowls are available to use for £10.00
· If having catering from us then please make us aware of any food
allergies.
· A lighter and cake knife is provided.
Clean up:
Full clean up involves table cleaning, floor cleaning, surface cleaning,
tableware cleaning (cups, plates etc) and putting away of furniture etc.
Please do not leave food waste out or room overly messy.
Decorating:
The room comes equipped with furniture laid out for your children’s
tea. Rugs and cushions.
We do allow banners to be displayed but only with Blue Tack. Please remove
all banners and decorations after your event. Should you wish to book
our decorating service then please consult a member of the party team.
Balloons:
We only allow helium balloons
purchased from our shop to be used at the Party Loft. Our Qualatex balloon
brand is the best on the market and will reflect positively on your party.
Latex balloons start at £1.00 and can be ordered from our shop.
We will happily take them up to The Loft on your behalf before the party
starts.
Damages:
These may incur extra charges and your card details will be held on file
until after your event and a full clean up has been carried out.
Unloading/loading:
During quieter times (evenings/Sundays) you are able to access The Loft
by driving into Brewery Court past Subway. Once you have unloaded or loaded
you must park your vehicle in the adjacent car park.
Venue management:
We will open the venue for you and lock up when you leave. A venue manager
is also available to consult with throughout your party duration.
What we have that you can use and what we’ll do for you –
all included in the basic hire charge:
· Urn for hot water,
mugs, tea, coffee, tea, milk, sugar and even a tin of biscuits
· Fridge, microwave, CD player
· Washing up liquid, sponge, bin with bag
· Colouring in/story books
· Room laid out with age specific furniture
· Cake knife, matches, spare candles incase you forget
· Step ladder – the room comes with hooks already in situ
for easily hanging bunting etc.
· We will put a blackboard outside the Loft entrance with the birthday
girl/boy’s name
· We will take balloons up to the Loft that have been pre-ordered
and paid for from the shop
· Full clear up – please note additional charges will b made
for refuse removal and food area clear up.
Please note that although
we offer a full room clear-up service, the above items are available to
use free of charge and we would appreciate you leaving the kitchen area
tidy with snack bowls and mugs etc washed.
We will wash down tables
and stools, hoover the room, mop the floor, polish and intensively clean
the kitchen area after your departure.
We have an additional range
of plastic kiddies plates and cups, vases, cake stands, vintage crockery,
baskets, platters, candle holders, bunting, decorations, glitter balls,
dress up boxes etc that can be hired out.
When you arrive for your
party we will ask you to sign a copy of this agreement and take your card
details. Should the venue, props or any item belonging to The Party Loft
be damaged in any way then we will contact you to discuss payment. Wear
and tear is obviously not considered damage.
